How to Use Core drills
Most important: Annular cutter can only be used on a through hole ,not blind holes.
Annular cutter is a highly efficient and energy-saving Cutting tool specialized in drilling holes for metal structural parts,mainly used in steel structure engineering, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, bridge building,rail transportation and other industries.
Annular cutter adopts multi-blade ring cutting, only cutting ring holes, and adopts layered cutting.
The specially designed chip removal groove, as well as the intermediate hole cooling, can greatly reduce the cutting heat, and annular cutter has small drilling resistance, high positioning accuracy, small roughness, smooth chip removal, low power consumption, and one-time sharpening.
The annular cutter is characterized by low drilling resistance, high positioning accuracy, low roughness, smooth chip removal, low power consumption, long drilling life with one sharpening and high drilling efficiency.
Compared with the traditional twist drill, the working efficiency can be increased by 3-10 times.
Annular cutter and magnetic seat drill can also be used to drill large workpieces in multiple positions.
The drilling of large workpieces can be carried out in multiple directions, which is convenient and flexible, and effectively shortens the construction period.
It has become the first choice of drilling tool for modern steel components.
Due to the limitations of the conditions of use and the structure and power of the drilling machine, the range of drilling diameters is limited,the drilling diameter ranges from Φ12mm to 100mm, and can be expanded to 200mm on special occasions.
The drilling depth is usually within 100mm, and can be increased to 200mm for special occasions.
The difference between TCT Annular cutter and HSS Annluar cutter lies in the material and scope of application. TCT Annular cutter is suitable for processing materials with higher hardness, while HSS Annular cutter is suitable for processing softer materials. In terms of service life, TCT have a longer life than HSS annular cutter,but HSS annular cutter is more sharp and get better smooth holes.Meanwhile if smaller size hole less than 60mm,we recommend use HSS, if bigger size>60mm,pls use TCT.
